Travel: My Pick Of The World's Most Romantic Cities

It shouldn't be the case, but it can often be difficult to find time for romance in modern day life.

With couples busier than ever before, even finding the time for their personal life can be a challenge. Once you've booked some time off work then what? To show the person you care the most about that you love them, you then have to begin the task of choosing the right place for this display of affection.

To help you along the way, I've done some of the work into finding romantic places for you and your partner.

Paris, France

It’s hard to talk about romantic cities without thinking about Paris, and this makes it a great place to start. From the Eiffel Tower to The Louvre, there are countless attractions in this city which can make for a romantic occasion. The city is filled with restaurants serving the local cuisine as well as food from around the world, and has loads of places to grab a drink, many of which are designed with couples in mind. You will find few places around the world which are better suited to a romantic getaway.

Rome, Italy

Next up, it’s time to move a little south, into the city of Rome. As one of the world’s most ancient cities, it’s hard to ignore a place like this when you’re on any adventure, let alone a romantic one. With time-lost architecture and countless points of interest, you certainly won’t get bored on a trip like this, and a photographer in Rome would have an easy time of capturing it all for you. This can be a great city for those who are looking for somewhere to propose to their partner.

Kyoto, Japan

Japan may not be the first place you think of when you're thinking of a romantic break. The capital of this small nation, Kyoto has a huge amount of history surrounding it, with temples, shrines, and traditional architecture found across the city. Food plays a large role in Kyoto culture, with a huge choice of meals and expertly crafted dishes readily available.

Marrakesh, Morocco

Finally, as the last city on this list, it’s time to think about Marrakesh. Like most of the cities I've mentioned, this part of Morocco is ancient, and holds a lot of unique qualities which simply aren’t found in newer places. Built around a walled city, visiting this place can take you back in time. Of course, though, the traditional artwork and street performances are what most people will be excited about, and these can be just as romantic as the options which other cities have on offer.

There is a lot of world to explore on your journey to find the most romantic city. In fact you could spend your whole life dedicated to the task, but don't miss out on the most important thing; your love for your partner.

You can be anywhere in the world but if you're unable to relax and unwind it can be a wasted journey. And don't forget, at the end of the day, it's the person that's the most important, not the place.

Love Tx
