April Bucket List

Magnolia Blossom

As we welcome the arrival of spring and the longer days that come with it, April is the perfect time to start checking off more items on our bucket lists.

Whether you're looking for outdoor adventures, new experiences, or simply ways to enjoy the season, April has something for everyone (and let's hope the weather improves, as I'm still working on March's bucket list).

Here are a few ideas to add to your April bucket list, some of which you could combine:

Go on a spring hike:

As the flowers start to bloom and the weather warms up, April is the ideal time to hit the trails. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, (OK, more of a stroll for me and the dog) there are plenty of beautiful areas to explore. Maybe try somewhere new.

Visit a farmers market:

April is a great time to shop for fresh produce and support local farmers. Farmers markets are a great way to enjoy the spring bounty and discover new seasonal flavours. You might even find a cute little coffee shop too.

Have a picnic in the park:

Pack a picnic basket with your favourite snacks and head to a nearby park for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. Enjoy the fresh air, good food, quality time with friends and family, or even just alone.

Take a road trip:

Hit the open road and explore a new destination. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a longer adventure, April is a great time to travel and discover new places.

Work on the garden:

Get your hands dirty and get to work on your garden. April is the perfect time to plant flowers, herbs, and vegetables and watch them grow throughout the season. If you've followed me for a while, you might remember that last year I started work on giving my garden a make over.

I really need to get this finished, or at least get a shed!

Attend a festival:

From music festivals to food festivals, April is a great time to celebrate and have fun. Check out local events in your area and experience something new. (First one booked! Not April, but still so excited)

Meditate:

I was told recently that I need to meditate. I used to try, but I've been advised it would help me in many areas of my life. So, like me, take some time to relax and connect with yourself through meditation. Find a quiet spot outdoors or in your home and focus on your breathing and inner peace.

Exercise and eat healthy:

I keep saying it, but I really need to start exercising more and eating more healthy. I can only benefit. So stay active and nourish your body with healthy foods. Take a brisk walk, go for a run, or try a new workout routine. Fuel your body with nutritious meals and snacks.

Play in April showers:

Embrace the spring showers and have some fun playing in the rain. Put on your rain boots and splash around in puddles or go for a refreshing walk in the rain.

Brunch:

Enjoy a leisurely brunch with friends or family. Try out a new brunch spot or host a brunch at home with a delicious spread of food and drinks.

Wardrobe clear out:

I have a stack of stuff on Vinted, and a pile of stuff I still need to list. My wardrobe could also do with a clear out, so time to take some time to declutter and organise. Donate or sell clothes that you no longer wear and create a fresh and organised space for your spring outfits.

So, enjoy April, and make the most of this beautiful time of the year. Let me know which you do, or any you would add.

Love Tx
